Well had plans on testing out the nitrous install, but never made it that far. Got to make three runs, nothing spectacular, best was a low 11 at 124 something. The last run the car was really hauling some ass until a little bit into 4th then it went downhill quickly.
It popped ahead gasket which in turn pushed a bunch of oil and gas out onto the ground. After that happened I was pretty much just along for the ride. I was in the left lane and when it all started it first started out heading left into the other lane and took out a cone. Then it decided it wanted to go back the other direction and in a hurry. I was trying my hardest to keep it off the wall and for a few tenths of a second I thought I was going to make it. But that must have been an optical allusion or something. Because I hit the wall pretty damn hard. First the nose plowed into it which in turn lifted the backend up off the ground and then the back end whipped around and smacked it.
That killed most of the speed, but it still went a little ways and took out another cone.
It still runs, but fluids leak out pretty quickly and it smokes like a freight train. We couldn't check out the motor since the hood won't open up. lol
Not quite sure what my plans are as of yet, just going to pull all the good stuff off of it and take it to the crusher. Probably end up with another rx7 since they are pretty easy to come by.
Sorry no video of this one, we even checked everybody in the stands with a video camera trying to find one.
But here are some of the carnage pictures. The frame is tweaked pretty good.
